I have been listening to Anushka Shankar performing live for over an hour with Spanish Mexican  musicians.I can safely say that music in truly a world language.Her step sister who has won several Granny Awards,is also superb singer.One can not deny that lineage has the genes of the father and no denying is possible that the character of the parents are definitely sequenced to their offsprings.
Just listen the concert on Youtube attached to any Bose amplifier and you will be completely swayed.
